Who clicks?

Hi! I am Apoorva. I grew up in a quaint little city - Mysore, India. After a Bachelor's in Electronics and a Master's in Computer Engineering, I moved to San Francisco, USA where I work as a Software Engineer.

I am the 'Cooker' of this blog. Well, at least most of the time. The man on your right is a cook in his own, delicious, right. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember. From no-fire cooking as a kid to whipping up cakes today, I think, dream and live for food. This blog is my way to vent at the end of the day, dream more and talk about eating sustainably well.

I have a theory about food. I believe that it is the solution to all of the world’s problems. Nothing brings people together like good food. We think better and love more. If all of us decide to dedicate some amount of time, everyday, to think about food - what to cook for dinner, which green juice to drink tomorrow or what cake to bake over the weekend - the world would be a happier place.

So, lets cook! And save the world while at it!

Hi!, and I am Prithvi. I grew up in the warm beach city of Chennai. Studies and work have taken me from Chennai to Goa to Bangalore to Irvine and finally to San Francisco, where I now work as a Software Engineer!

I am the 'Clicker' for OKW, though Apoorva very easily could double as one. It's just that her hands are busy cooking and I can't keep my hands off a camera. Having travelled a bit now, I have realized there is no parallel to the happiness that home cooked food can bring you, especially if you've cooked it yourself. Cook along, and you'll agree.

I have always been around good food - Neer Dosa-Chicken curry(Mom's), Rice-Rasam-Potato fry (Grandma's) to Chicken Biriyani-Raitha (Apoorva's) and many more. So, no matter where I've traveled, I have felt the need to be able to cook good home food. Through this blog, I hope to hone my photography. But more importantly, learn about our food, which I think many of us 'busy' people need to.

Remember!.. when hungry, peep into our kitchen window. It's always open for you!
